| Step One: Cut old plug from cord using combination tool. Separate flatcord wires by pulling the two halves apart. Strip 3/4 inch of insulation on each wire using combination tool. |
Step Two: Remove casing cover. Twist loose strands of bare copper wire together. Hook copper wires clockwise around screw terminals and tighten securely. |

| Step Three: Reassemble the plug casing. Replace insulating faceplate, if plug uses one. |
