- Float ball: Ball at the end of float arm on plunger valve and diaphragm ball cocks. The float balls screws onto threads of the end of the float arm
- Tank Ball or Flapper: Rubber toilet tank element that seals the opening between tank and toilet bowl and, when raised by the handle, lets the tank water out to flush the bowl.
- Ball cocks: Automatic valve in toilet tank where movement of the float arm affects a plunger to control water entry into the tank.
